BOYS TRACK & FIELD

Track and Field is a unique sport where athletes have the opportunity to compete not only against athletes in a different uniform, but also against themselves. Not every athlete on our roster will have an opportunity to compete in the GAC or District Championship, however they will get a chance to improve and set new PERSONAL RECORDS (P.R.) each time they race, jump, vault, or throw.

WE WILL DEDICATE OURSELVES TO HIGH ACADEMIC, ATHLETIC AND SOCIAL STANDARDS; COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE ON AND OFF THE TRACK.

Track & Field in its purest nature is widely understood to be an “individual sport”. This means that in many aspects, an athlete (and team) can find success through accomplishments of an individual athlete. There is no record; team wins and losses are not recorded in Track & Field. With our eyes set on doing well at the GAC, District & State Championship meets, despite the purest nature of the sport, our North Point Boys Track & Field program does in fact embrace a TEAM CULTURE. We do this by prioritizing Leadership, Accountability, Competition, Team Work & School Pride.

OUR VISION IS TO BE MORE THAN A "TRACK TEAM". WE WANT TO BE A SPRINGBOARD AND RESOURCE FOR PERSONAL SUCCESS AND GROWTH TO ALL ATHLETES AT NORTH POINT HIGH SCHOOL.

While we believe that track and field is a “no-cut sport” we also recognize that participation in high school athletics is a privilege and not a right. Our program follows all of the general rules and guidelines as outlined in the Wentzville School District Athletic/Activities Handbook.

Established in 2021, we are creating one of the most exciting and successful programs in St. Charles County.
